21. $100 Open Gamblers Choice Stakes ($10 Entrance Fee) 1st-$40, 2nd-$30, 3rd-$20, 4th-$10

  • Open - classes can be ridden in english or western attire.
  • Open classes are open for all age groups. (w/t classes may be split by age the day of the show if there are several riders)
  • Parade class entries should have a serape.
  • Any horse or pony will be ridden only once in any age group.
  • Disqualification will be at the discretion of the judge and ringmaster.
  • Riders who are jumping may choose 2 consecutive classes to ride in and the Gamblers Choice. (i.e. 18²,2¹ and gamblers or 2¹,2¹6² and Gamblers Choice)
  • All jumping requires saddles Without Horns.
  • A helmet with chin strap is required for any jumping in or outside the ring.
  • Footware with substantial heel in required for all classes.
  • Copy of Current Coggins Test and Rabies shots should be presented at Registration.
  • Lunch time tentative depending on pace of classes

All horse trailers must be parked in back parking lot. Use Gate #2

To qualify for the Dirigo year-end awards and accumulate points, you must be a member paid in full before the show AND you or a person designated by you must work at a show for a whole day or two half days, and report this to the secretary’s booth when you have completed a job. Any horse or pony will be ridden only once in any age group. Disqualification will be at the discretion of the judge and ringmaster. All jumping requires saddles without horns. Footwear with a substantial heel is required. Use protective helmet with chin harness when jumping, in the ring or over warm-up jumps. Spurs are permitted.

Improper conduct towards animals or people will not be tolerated. Offenders may be asked to leave the grounds.
