ENTRANTS SHOULD ENTER FAIRGROUNDS AT GATE #3: must be on grounds by 5 pm
All figure 8 entrance shall pay at the gate plus $15 registration fee.
The competition is open to anyone interested in joining the fun. Pit pass will be necessary to be in the pit.
All entrants must be at drivers meeting at 5 PM.
NO RIDING ON FAIRGROUNDS.

FIGURE 8 RULES

1. Will be limited to 4 cylinder small cars only.
   
2. Helmets, seat belts, and eye protection required.
   
3. All side glass MUST either be removed or rolled down (the less glass the better).
   
4. Batteries must be secure and covered.
   
5. Rusty cars must have a chain or strap securing the gas tank in the car. Door bars are required on driver's side door midway up the car to exceed 6" past either door seam, bolted or welded with no sharp edges.
   
6. Driver must wear sneakers or boots. (Closed toe, closed heel)
   
7. Long sleeved shirts and long pants are required.
   
8. Vehicle must have working brakes.
   
9. Window net is preferred.
   
10. All vehicles must have working fire extinguisher.
    

Tuff Truck Competition

Must use Gate #3 and everyone pays at the gate plus Entry Fee $15.
All trucks must be through the gate by 4:30 p.m. anyone arriving after that time will not run

TUFF TRUCK RULES

Two classes of trucks: Modified & Street

1. 2 wheel & 4 wheel drive trucks welcome.
   
2. Full-face helmet required.
   
3. Shoulder and lap belts required but 4-point harness is recommended. Long sleeved shirts and long pants are required, fire suit recommended but not required.
   
4. Driver must wear sneakers or boots, NO sandals or open toed shoes. Vehicle must have working brakes.
   
5. Window net is preferred.
   
6. All vehicles must have working fire extinguisher.
   
7. All side glass MUST either be removed or rolled down (the less glass the better).
   
8. Stock/Factory suspension.
   
9. Dual shocks are okay on front.
   
10. Aftermarket lift kits are okay.
    
11. Length of suspension travel not to be increased except to accommodate lift kit.
    
12. All lugs must be present and tight.
    
13. Any vehicle not using stock fuel tank in original position must have fuel cell or boat style fuel tank secured and covered in non-conductive material.
    
14. No exposed fuel lines in drivers compartment.
    
15. Battery must be secure and covered by a non-conductive material.
    
16. Trucks with too much rust must have 4 point roll cage.
    
17. ALL DRIVERS must attend drivers meeting just before 5:00 PM.
    
18. Stadium trucks are welcome but will be in separate class with a separate set of rules.
    
19. Movement of radiator, engine, driver's compartment, or suspension components will classify truck stadium truck.

GENERAL RULES

1. All Diesels will have tip up exhaust.
   
2. All Modified will have some sort of drive shaft loops.
   
3. No weight will be allowed in the cab of the trucks.
   
4. All passengers have to sign a release form.
   
5. Only one passenger allowed.
   
6. Seatbelts must be worn.
   
7. No alcohol in the pits.
   
8. Any use of alcohol by participants will result in a disqualification of that person/truck.
   
9. All rules are subject to change.
   
10. All decisions are final by event staff.
    
11. Drivers meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. and is mandatory.
    
12. Scales will open at 4:30 p.m.
    
13. Hitch heights for modified Diesel will be 20 inches.
    
14. Pulling starts at 6:00 p.m.
    
15. Top three in each class can jump up but will have to pay entrance fee again.
    
16. Entrance fee of $20 per hook.
    
17. Any class with less than 3 trucks will be eliminated.

MODIFIED DIESEL RULES

1. Trucks will need to be street legal and inspected.
   
2. Must have drive shaft loops.
   
3. Must have DOT approved tires.
   
4. Nitrous and Propane are allowed.
   
5. All other performance modifications allowed.

MODIFIED 1/2 TON AND 3/4 TON GAS RULES

1. Must have drive shaft loops.
   
2. Suspension modification allowed.
   
3. Power additives allowed.
   
4. Must have DOT approved tires.
   
5. Must be street legal and inspected.

MODIFIED 1/2 TON AND 3/4 TON GAS RULES

5. Drop in air filters allowed but must have air box.
   
6. No after market modifications or power additives.
   
7. Must have DOT approved tires.
   
8. No propane or nitrous.

4x4 MODIFIED SUPER STREETS - Rules and Classes will be set the night of the pull depending on the turnout of the trucks.

Garden Tractor Pulls

Sunday, August 27th: 9:00 AM at the Mechanical Pulling Track

It is not necessary to belong to a club to participate in events.

CLASSES

Strictly Stock (ages 6-17) - 700 lbs., 900 lbs.
Stock (ages 6-17) - 800 lbs., 1050 lbs., 1300lbs.
Improved Stock (ages 8-17) - 1100 lbs., 1300 lbs.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Drivers must be at least 6 yrs. of age but no older than 17 yrs. for the strictly stock, and stock classes.

Drivers must be at least 8 yrs. of age but no older than 17 yrs. for the Improved stock classes.

Draw bar not to exceed 12” in height and be rigid in all directions.With the exception of strictly stock class with 8” wheels are limited to 8” height without wheelie bars.

Weight to include driver and helmet.

Each tractor will be checked for safety.

Each tractor must have working brakes.

Strictly stock and stock tractors are limited to 4000 RPMs.

Improved Stock are limited to 5000 RPMs.

All tractors must appear stock.

No dealer will be allowed to enter a tractor.

Strictly Stock must have turf tires and stock carburation.

Stock may run Ag tires but must not be cut.

Improved may run cut tires.

All drivers must wear helmets.

All tractors must have wheelie bars, except strictly stock but are strongly recommended.

No part of the tractor may interfere with the drag.

Any tractor that loses a weight when hooked to the drag will be disqualified.

Any part of the tractor or drag that goes out of bounds will be disqualified.With the exception of the strictly stock which will be measured at the point they go out of bounds.

Vertical Shaft Over-Head Valve tractors must run in the Improved Stock Class.

All decisions of the judge are FINAL.

Demolition Derby

Sunday, August 27th: 3:00 PM at the Mechanical Track

ENTRANTS SHOULD ENTER FAIRGROUNDS AT GATE #3
ALL CARS MUST BE AT FAIRGROUNDS BY NOON.
All Demo Derby entrants shall pay at the gate plus a $15 registration fee.
Anyone interested in entering the Derby should get his or her cars built and ready.
Drivers must be 16 years of age with parental permission.

The competition is open to anyone interested in joining the fun. Pit pass will be necessary to be in the pit. Only 2 passes will be granted per car.
POWDER PUFF DEMO Powder Puff sponsored by EVERGREEN AUTO Salvage - $300 in prizes. 1st - $150, 2nd - $100, 3rd - $50. No Entry fee for Powder Puff.
PREMIUMS will change if 6 cars or less.

DEMOLITION DERBY RULES

1. Drivers must be 16 years of age with parental permission.
2. ALL CARS MUST BE AT FAIRGROUNDS BY NOON. CARS AFTER NOON MAY NOT BE PERMITTED TO RUN.
3. Drivers must have long sleeved shirts, long pants, helmet, and eye protection.
4. Driver must wear sneakers or boots, NO sandals or open toed shoes. Safety belt or harness must be worn.
5. Only drivers and their mechanics will be permitted in the pit area or on the track.
6. All vehicles are asked (but not required) to have a the following: fire extinguisher, windshield, driver's cage (in driver's compartment only), plated drivers door (not to exceed more than one foot past door seams), driver's door panel, and stock dash pad.
7. Back seat and all carpeting must be removed.
8. Big cars must have fuel tank located in front of rear axle; a boat tank is preferred. Also have battery located in passenger compartment mounted solid and covered.
9. Small car is 4 cylinder only.
10. Small cars are permitted to have stock fuel tank and battery location.
11. Trailer hitches including hitch brackets must be removed.
12. Radiator may be bypassed but must remain in stock position.
13. NO antifreeze, WATER ONLY.
14. Fan blade must be clutch type or electric fan which may be of any make or model.
15. Car must be of stock appearance with doors welded on chained.
16. DO NOT weld or bolt hood or trunk (use wire to secure them).
17. Car must have a 1 foot square hole in the hood.
18. NO strengthening of cars or modifications to suspension will be permitted. Cars that have already been in a derby may have reattached bumpers with a reasonable amount of weld (no more than 4 one inch welds).
19. All drivers must attend the drivers meeting to be held 45 minutes prior to the start of Derby.
20. No snow tires, drive wheels.
21. Wheel weights must be removed.
22. Fiberglass noses and tails must be removed due to the fact that they get stuck in the track and tip it up.
23. Outside mirrors and antennas must be removed.
24. NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED.
25. Any driver or crew member not obeying the rules will be disqualified.
26. Drivers are responsible for the conduct of their crew members.
27. Vehicle must have working brakes. Window net is preferred. Door bar. All side glass MUST either be removed or rolled down (the less glass the better). As a service to the participants, Piscataquis Valley Fair Association will purchase any unwanted demo car after the Derby for $25.
